   I use the Rainbow Gallery PB braid for the sparkles in the design instead of the Kreinik braid. I find the PB easier to use and slightly thinner than the Kreinik. If you don't like stitching with metallic thread I've heard some ladies on the HAED BB use white silk. I thought about giving that a go but I really like sparkles :)

   Hey Mel,
   
   I was looking at your pic of the Dark Cherry SAL. It is so pretty. You said that you used Rainbow Gallery Petite Treasure Braid PB 10. Does that mean that you use 1 thread DMC and 1 thread of the Rainbow to get a 2x1? It is a wonderful personal touch, I just love it.

   Hi Lucy! Thanks for the compliments on my Dark Cherry WIP :) I don't combine the Petite Treasure Braid with a strand of DMC, just use it as it comes off the card, ie. one strand over one thread. I find 2 x 1 too bulky even on 25 count.
